Mar 1. The RFE Begins

The entire team gathered at the hotel on Sunday morning and were joined by several of our hosts from District 9790. Andrew and Jan would be our hosts for the next several days.

The luggage was whisked away and Andrew lead us on a tram and walking tour of Melbourne highlighting some of the features of the city we may have missed. We went back through the art district and even got to see one of the street artists at work.

There is some animosity between groups of artists and those that do graffiti so they work over top of each other.

We eventually got back to the Arts Centre where Barbara and I got to visit parts of the exhibit we had not seen before.

The team posed for a picture after lunch at the gallery.
Barbara and I did not get the memo about the blue shirts.

We walked back along the river parkway stopping for ice cream and beer on the way to the train station. It was over 32 degrees by this point so shade was welcome.

We all got to Andrew and Jan's house after about a 30 minute train ride. After others left to settle in with their respective billets we were treated to lovey salmon supper and great conversation.
